Twp. Rd. 364

acrylic on paper, 01.28.2018

This painting resulted from a desire to capture a still, foggy day. I headed east of Saskatoon with my camera and found myself in a still and mostly sepia world. The tree in this scene particularly caught my attention - still solitary strength in the misty morning. I named this painting after the road I found it on (January, 2018). "Twp. Rd. 364" is the first picture I painted with the aid of a photograph. It was sold at the "Splash of Red" dinner and auction in April, 2018.
