acrylic on wood, 04.03.2018
This pixie began as a pale pink, sage and blue landscape on a piece of plywood. I liked the wood but wasn't feeling the landscape and its muted tones. In early April, I sketched a winged character that resembled Tinker Bell. I knew then that this piece of wood was ready for my Pixie. I hope you enjoy all her sparkle, effervescence and spunk. This piece makes a nice pair with "Enchanted Forest" in my landscape/cityscape gallery. "Pixie Dust" is available for purchase and was on display at the Pomegranate Gallery at Persephone Theatre in beautiful Saskatoon.
